We competed in the State Championship once again this year. We managed to rank 7th in the State by winning the Motivate award. While this would have qualified us to World's, unfortunately it was cancelled for this pandemic season. Nonetheless, we finished the season well with a strong performance in the Turnpike division. 

We co-hosted this convention with Vex and Mustang Robotics to spread awareness of FIRST and STEM. With over 50 attendees, we had 2 guest speakers, talk about their experience in STEM, and held 2 workshops.  

This past weekend at the Dragon Summit qualifier held in Summit, NJ, we qualified for NJ's FTC state competition, after placing 2nd for the Inspire Award. We also were nominated for 3 out of the 6 judged awards, and won the Think Award. Congratulations and best of luck to the other teams! Thank you Summit for being great hosts. States will be held on March 15th at Columbia High School, Maplewood. We look forward for states!

During the Presidents Day weekend, Ridge Robotics was invited to Liberty Science Center, along with 3 other FTC teams and many other robotics teams from various challenges. 
 

This past weekend, we were nominated for 4 out of the 6 awards and won 1st place inspire award. Congratulations and good luck to the other teams! We look forward to states! 

For the first competition of the season, the robot performed very well and we look forward to the season. We want to improve much about our robot but loved to interact with other teams and plan out our future season.
 

For the second time in its two year history, we have gone to the NJ state finals and had a great time competing. Congrats to Arul Gupta for being a Dean's List finalist and to Nihal Kurki for being a Dean's List semi-finalist.

Ridge Robotics was invited to Liberty Science Center to showcase our robot and spread awareness about FIRST and FTC. Along with 3 other FTC teams, we were able to spend time building and practicing, as well as speaking to other adults and children about FIRST. We would like to say thanks to the LSC Staff and everyone who volunteered!

Ridge Robotics teamed up with Elementary Robotics, a non-profit organization, to set up a small camp to teach younger children in our community about coding with Lego Mindstorms.

Ridge Robotics makes it into the Finals and earns the Audacious Autonomous award. 

Ridge Robotics is a finalist alliance captain and wins the Inspire Award and qualifies for 5 other awards.
